Long description:
Termini und Terminologien stellen einen zentralen Gegenstand der Fachsprachenforschung dar; kaum Beachtung finden bislang jedoch Strategien der Einführung terminologischer Systeme in fachliche Texte. Die Studie befasst sich daher am Beispiel von Ausschnitten aus der Norm DIN 2330 und Kants ?Kritik der reinen Vernunft? mit quantitativen Aspekten der Terminologisierung. Von besonderer Relevanz erweisen sich dabei der Anteil der Termini an der Gesamtheit der Wörter, der Durchschnitt der Termini je Satz und je Definition, der Anteil der Definitionen an der Gesamtheit der Sätze, der Durchschnitt der Definitionen je Absatz sowie der Abstand einzelner Termini zu deren Definitionen und Rang-Frequenzverteilungen im Text. Die quantitativen Befunde werden schließlich hinsichtlich des Reichtums an Termini und Definitionen und deren Schwankungen sowie im Hinblick auf die terminologische Progression im Text interpretiert. Die Studie weist insofern über sich hinaus, als deren Ergebnisse und deren Vorgehensweise auf weitere präskriptiv-appellative und deskriptiv-diskursive sowie andere Fachtexte übertragbar sind und somit neue Impulse für die Fachsprachenforschung und die Quantitative Linguistik gesetzt werden.
