Ces deux ouvrages nous sont parvenus seulement en traduction arabe. ? l?édition récente du premier (cf. R. Rashed et A. Papadopoulos, Menelaus? Spherics. Early Translation and al-M?h?n?/al-Haraw??s version, Scientia Graeco-Arabica 21, 2017) succ?de aujourd?hui celle du second. Ce texte d?hydrostatique s?inscrit dans la lignée du traité d?Archim?de Sur les corps flottants mais, contrairement ? cet ouvrage, il a été connu et diffusé dans le monde arabe d?s le IXe si?cle.
