Why don't you give exact delivery time?

Delivery time is estimated on our previous experiences. We give estimations only, because we order from outside Hungary, and the delivery time mainly depends on how quickly the publisher supplies the book. Faster or slower deliveries both happen, but we do our best to supply as quickly as possible.

    Short description:

Teen TV is booming. Current youth series on streaming platforms are a clear indication of this trend, but have so far received little attention in German-language media studies. This anthology provides a fundamental introduction to serial teen TV drama and takes a look at central case studies, from 13 Reasons Why to DRUCK, the German adaptation of the Norwegian transmedia youth drama SKAM. In addition to the content and aesthetics of serial teen narratives, the book looks at their reception and production contexts.

The content: Foundations of Teen TV - Current Teen TV: Case studies - Teen TV from Germany - DRUCK as transmedial Teen TV

The target groups: Lecturers and students of media and cultural studies, media pedagogy and educational science as well as sociology

    The editors:

Dr. Florian Krauß is Lecturer at the University of Siegen, Germany, and a freelance script editor. He has held visiting scholar position at the universities of Bologna, Copenhagen and Utrecht and served as visiting professor at Technische Universitat Dresden and as research associate at the Film University Babelsberg Konard Wolf, Potsdam.

Moritz Stock, M.A was a research assistant at the University of Siegen in the 'Media and Communication/Gender Media Studies' department from 2016 to 2023. He is currently completing his doctoral project and works in non-university media and cultural education.

This book is a translation of an original German edition. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence (machine translation by the service DeepL.com). A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically differently from a conventional translation.
